Post 73: Procrastination vs. Productivity

Gah, lately I am really going in spurts I think my procrastination is starting to win over the productivity. Anyway, I did get a little bit done this week....

I love these little pouches (they are about 5" x 4"), if I ever get around to sewing on the buttons I will post them in the shop!

I also worked on this skinny scarf. I love it. The yellow and white are beautiful, like sunshine orrrr lemon meringue pie! It is just the kind of pick me up I am going to need once the cold weather gets here.... Annnd of course I would not forget to mention Gus. He officially hates me.

He now spends his days running into walls, table legs, and people legs (I have to admit it cracks me up)....He doesn't even fight it anymore, he doesn't move much in general. I don't think he knows what to do....This is how he looks at me when I mention putting on the cone...

Haha...I am on his shit list these days. Buuuut it is oh so funny.

Post 67: An excuse to go shopping...

I need to go shopping for vacation clothes (and whatnots) today...maybe not NEED but when I go on vacation I like to feel classy in my new pretty clothes other than my dingy over washed rags... hehe. Anyway, I am hoping I can find something like these lovely Etsy finds at the store (since obviously I have waited too long to actually order them from Etsy...)

Noooow if I can only get the pup to take a nap so I can sneak out.....

And for a Dog Dork update: Gus is now not only clingy but ULTRA clingy where he must be in contact with me at all times and if he is playing I must be within 10 feet...otherwise he stresses out and he acts like the world is coming to an end. A trip to the bathroom usually leads to a puppy breakdown and I am afraid the neighbors assume the pup is mistreated...heh. I am hoping it blows over soon....

Post 31: Just A Few Things...and A Sneak Peak!

Hey folks! I am sorry about my absence this week but as you all know sometimes we just get busy....or lazy...for me it has been a mixture of both. It is a busy time of year at the moment, I have birthdays, baby showers, fathers day, not to mention two little girls who are expecting Independence Day dresses from me. Sticking to the handmade pledge sure gets time consuming (especially when you are a procrastinator like myself) ....especially when I am working on the puppies schedule who demands 100% of my attention at all times!

Post 25: So many things to share...

I made my third sale this week!! I shipped my "Paulette Is Back From Paradise Island" Clutch out to Finland yesterday...therefore I am now worldwide! haha...

I also got a new camera from my lovely husband yesterday!! A Canon Stylus Tough 8000. I can drop it, step on it, use it in the water...and it won't break! Which is great for me since I have been through 3 cameras in a year....(I am a bit clumsy)

I also inherited my Uncle Greg's box of oil paints, brushes etc...

It makes me so sad but has a bit of happiness in it at the same time.

I also used my new camera to take another picture of Baby Gus...and he POSED for me! I thought it was cute and funny...but since he is my puppy everyone else might not be as entertained by it hehe...

Annnd this is currently my favorite wall in my house so I wanted to share it (it is a work in progress).. They are all pictures of family members which makes it special to my me and my husband.

I love old photographs. I have also started adding a couple "newer" ones as well (all black and white). All of my frames were bought at garage sales and thrift stores and hit with a can of black spray paint and wa la!
Okay, that all may have been a bit random, but that seems to be what I am all about. ha. I hope you were at least somewhat entertained by it. You all have a great weekend!!

Post 23: I have officially gone crazy...

Well, as I mentioned in the previous post my house is now run by a puppy; a spoiled rotten puppy who is getting braver and brattier with each passing day! But we are working on that. Having someone else to spoil has me "window shopping" Etsy like crazy. Here are a few things I am in love with!

These are totally cute dog toys! And in my opinion they look a lot like Gus!

This is technically a cat toy but I am thinking of trying to make something similar for my lil' dog because it is just too cute!

This hand painted harness is too cute and totally original!
And we cant forget a cute I.D. Tag! "Love me, love my dog" hehe
