The sunshine reminds me that warmer days are growing near.

Post 144: I NEED TO SEW!

I haven't touched the sewing machine or beautiful fabric since before Thanksgiving and I cannot take it anymore!!! I have been trying SO hard to keep my 'fishbowl' in show condition but I may have to break out the Singer and wallow in a tangled mess of thread, buttons, fabric, and other notions.

With so many babies on the way I need to get to work! Not only do I have a bundle of joy on the way BUT I just found out my brother and sister-in-law have a little one on the way as well as two couples from my church group. I am so excited my duckling will have so many friends! hehe.

Post 141: Daydreaming In Blue

I have officially decided the color of the nursery! I am in LOVE with all of these lovely blue rooms. I still have two months until I know the duckling's gender but I think this color will be perfect for my little boy OR my little girl. I particularly love the girls rooms in blue!

Post 140: Oh Etsy, How You Tempt Me!

Etsy has soooooo many ADORABLE baby items! Annnd I cannot help but be tempted by their extreme cuteness. BUT I have told myself I will buy nothing until the baby showers are out of the way. I am sure the soon to be grandparents will be spoiling my little duckling MORE than enough!

I WILL be slipping in some hints about Etsy. Etsy needs a gift registry.

Post 138: The loves of my life.

Tomorrow I pack up and make the 10 hour drive to Kansas to visit the loves of my life, my baby brothers and sisters! They have no idea of the news I am bringing with me (and neither do you!).....shhhh

Starting from top clockwise: Elijah, Makenzie, Nathaniel, Briley

It has been so fun being able to watch these kiddos grow and help a bit along the way. From oldest to youngest we have Elijah, Makenzie, Briley, and Nate and they each have such big personalities. I love each one of them with all of my heart!

Elijah, 9, is the family sports star and he will not hesitate to tell you how he thinks he is the best. At the same time he is very sweet and will hand out random compliments.

Makenzie, 7, is the artist in every since of the word. She paints, draws, sings like an angel and is now learning piano.
Briley, 4, is a complete ham. She is not shy in the slightest bit and she says exactly what she is thinking. She is a bit of a tom boy and can win anyone's heart.

Annnd Nate, 1, is the newest addition and we both share our father's chin I don't know what to expect but I can't wait to see his personality show!

Do you ever just wake up and become overwhelmed with all the wonderful things you have been blessed with? Even the little rays of sunshine peeking through my window shade brings great joy to my heart.

Hello Bloggers!!

Well, the holidays are over and life is still as busy as ever! Adam and I have put our house up for sale and our contingent offer was accepted on the Dream House soooo now we just have to wait, and keep our house spotless at ALL times. Which is exhausting! I also packed up most of my crafting items and moved them to storage so no new items in the shop for awhile. Boo. I know there would be no way to keep the house clean and be able to create, I am FAR to messy for that!


I hope you all had a fantastic holiday! Did any of you make any new years resolutions? I know I didn't since I always disappoint myself and give up on them by March. Oh Well. Hopefully I will get things rolling again around here. I may make a slight direction change since I wont be doing any crafting but I promise I will try to keep it somewhat entertaining.
