Post 43: Good Morning Folks!!

It is only 8:30am (when i started typing this) annnnnd I have already been so productive!

"productive" may be a relative term considering by this time I am lucky If I have even brushed my teeth yet....

So I started out with my breakfast of champions (thanks Adam) serenaded by lovely Paul Simon...

Then I finished up sewing up my lil' giveaway....

and I already got the cam out so "Hop on the bus Gus" and I had our "photo opportunity"...

surprisingly I got a free nasal cleanse compliments of Gus!

And I am preparing myself for the up and coming weekend. Due to my husbands love of all things redneck I will be attending my second tractor pull in Henry, IL. I am hesitant about these things but I bet I will come back with wonderful stories and interesting pictures assuming I do not partake in one too many PBRs...wish me luck! lol

Oh and the reason I am here in the first place...Once I get all my pics edited into a pretty little image I will be posting my giveaway!!!

Post 31: Just A Few Things...and A Sneak Peak!

Hey folks! I am sorry about my absence this week but as you all know sometimes we just get busy....or lazy...for me it has been a mixture of both. It is a busy time of year at the moment, I have birthdays, baby showers, fathers day, not to mention two little girls who are expecting Independence Day dresses from me. Sticking to the handmade pledge sure gets time consuming (especially when you are a procrastinator like myself) ....especially when I am working on the puppies schedule who demands 100% of my attention at all times!

I have also managed to finish a couple of items I hope to get better pictures of and post in the shop by tomorrow!

Post 25: So many things to share...

I made my third sale this week!! I shipped my "Paulette Is Back From Paradise Island" Clutch out to Finland yesterday...therefore I am now worldwide! haha...

I also got a new camera from my lovely husband yesterday!! A Canon Stylus Tough 8000. I can drop it, step on it, use it in the water...and it won't break! Which is great for me since I have been through 3 cameras in a year....(I am a bit clumsy)

I also inherited my Uncle Greg's box of oil paints, brushes etc...

It makes me so sad but has a bit of happiness in it at the same time.

I also used my new camera to take another picture of Baby Gus...and he POSED for me! I thought it was cute and funny...but since he is my puppy everyone else might not be as entertained by it hehe...

Annnd this is currently my favorite wall in my house so I wanted to share it (it is a work in progress).. They are all pictures of family members which makes it special to my me and my husband.

I love old photographs. I have also started adding a couple "newer" ones as well (all black and white). All of my frames were bought at garage sales and thrift stores and hit with a can of black spray paint and wa la!
Okay, that all may have been a bit random, but that seems to be what I am all about. ha. I hope you were at least somewhat entertained by it. You all have a great weekend!!

WELCOME HOME GUS!

Gus is a hybrid dog called a "Daug" and is 1/2 Pug 1/2 Daschund. I acquired him over Memorial Day weekend as an Anniversary gift from my lovely husband! Anywho, I was excited and needed to share. Once I get him trained and settled in I will be back to blogging and Etsy-ing!

I also posted a new clutch last night and hope to get another up today, check out my Etsy.
