156: Makin' Thangs.

Soooo, besides reading about chickens this weekend I did get to do a little bit of crafting. With everything tossed away in storage crafting has really been put on the back burner. This weekend I completed a small project for Baby's room using cheap items I could find at Alco (since I was too lazy and cheap to travel into town.)

I am pretty pleased with it.

Also, this handsome guy arrived in my mailbox this weekend. I was so excited!

You have no idea how much I love this and how perfect it will be in my soon to be fantastic nursery.

Post 15: Dedos de fantasía bordado!

So, lately it has been far too beautiful outside to sit inside at my sewing machine. Naturally, I still had those irrisistable urges to craft! So I drew this out and embroidered it onto some bright goldenrod cotton fabric. (While enjoying the great outdoors!) Of course, it isnt quite finished but I hope to be posting it on Etsy very soon!

Once it is complete it will be a lovely piece of wall art! And I still have yet to decide what word I am going to embroider on the scroll.

With this last pic I was trying to some of the sugar skull detail but my camara did not want to cooperate!

Any thoughts? Suggestions for the scroll? Thanks for checking it out folks!

Just wanted to share a couple things I am working on...

This is a little ditty I hand embroidered, it will eventually the back panel on a Country N' Western shirt I am working on.. It says Pienso en ti, which in Spanish means "i am thinking of you"...sooo if I don't fall COMPLETELY in love with it, I will be selling on my Etsy.

I love love love the way this turned out! I have visitors coming to stay soon so I was attempting to make the guest room/craft/sewing/studio room a little more aesthetically pleasing. Annnd what is more beautiful than pillows?? Nothing. I was also thinking if I find the motivation to do this again I may try posting on my Etsy http://www.redplanet.etsy.com/ . . .what do you think? yes? no? maybe?
